What’s in a logo.

I’m very excited that branding is my business, and that I came up with a logo for my company that reflects my mission. It’s a simple black arrow in a circle, which lines up with my business mantra “most good ideas are simple.” It’s unique, which is a brand value, designed to have no particular top or bottom or any defined direction. The arrow is free to point any direction, and more accurately encouraged in my brand guidelines to vary.

That’s my goal is to help individuals and small businesses define their direction, and have a logo they can hold up to any business decision and make sure the opportunity points to their brand values. Nike is an example of a great brand, and if the Nike Swoosh was put on a photo of a man in a suit it wouldn’t reflect the brand value that, “there’s an athlete inside all of us.”

When I hold my arrow up to your brand I have to consider if the direction is the way I think I needs to be, and if so refocus to make sure it’s pointing in the way that’s best for you. Plus having a logo you’re proud of is kind of cool. I’m going to probably suggest you make yours into a sticker too.
